May 10th 12-1:30PM The practice of Yoga has much to offer for today’s athletes. In this workshop, we are going to take a look at a few of the many benefits yoga has for cyclists. Cyclists need leg strength, but they also need flexibility and back health. A person riding a bike spends most of their time bent forward over the handlebars, which leads to tight hips, chest, and shoulders. Come practice a specific sequence of poses to stretch and mobilize these tight areas. Also learn to deepen and steady the breath through pranayama (mindful breathing exercises) and increase your aerobic endurance. Whether you are a competitive athlete training for a race, or a casual commuter on a bike, this workshop will improve cycling and your body will feel great!
Saturday, May 10th from 12noon – 1:30 pm at Yoga Garden SF
